AGM & Cocktails - Pan Pacific Melbourne
Pan Pacific Melbourne hosted the June Chaine de Rôtisseurs VIC Bailage 2020 AGM event. It was a star-studded evening attended by industry leaders and top food aficionados from the country in yet another meticulously planned event by Chaine de Rôtisseurs VIC Bailliage. Maverick Chef Deepak Mishra and his team welcomed distinguished members and their guests with a delicious selection of international hors d’ oeuvres and an assortment of regional wines and cocktails.
Commandeur and Bailli of Victoria Daman Shrivastav opened the meeting acknowledging the country, welcoming members and guests and invited Norman Harrison, Bailli Délégué d'Australie to say a few words. Norman Harrison, Bailli Délégué d'Australie gave a heartfelt update of the effort and outstanding contribution Chaine de Rôtisseurs provides to charities, schools, and children around the globe.
We celebrated our 2022 Australian Young Chef Competition winner, Ryan Cosentino. Ryan is representing Australia in the finals in October in Mexico City, competing against Chef contestants from 18 different countries, we wish him all the best. We congratulated finalist Chef Kimberly Tang who shared her insights gained throughout the competition and her journey to becoming an accomplished Chef. A big thanks to members Bailli Daman Shrivastav, Head Coach Tom Milligan, Dale Lyman and Mark Sweeting for their guidance and support in helping contestants prepare and compete at their best and at the highest levels.
Members got the opportunity to introduce their guests and all guests were warmly welcomed. The formalities closed with industry leaders, members and guests continuing to network, enjoy the cocktails and savour the array of mouth-watering hors d’ oeuvres which included cured Kingfish, Foie Gras toasties, Laksa king prawns, Pork belly and so much more. To wash down this smorgasbord of delicacies a fine selection of sparkles and regional wines were enjoyed. We again thank @chefdeepakmishra and his team for their hospitality and a most enjoyable evening at Pan Pacific Melbourne.
Beautifully crafted event, short and sweet with over 50 members and guests socialising over some of the best food and wine Melbourne has to offer.
