Dear Members of la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Australia,

 

As we all are aware our local, national and international organization has been caught up in the unprecedented worldwide pandemic of Covid-19. This has had severe effects on our objectives and goals of the Chaine.

 

Due to the virus we have had to cancel our events and planned National young chefs and young sommeliers competitions for 2020. The International chef’s and sommeliers competitions for 2020 have also been postponed and we will keep you updated as we receive information from Paris.

 

Australia was scheduled to host the International young Chefs Competition in September 2021 which has now been set for 2022. We now have the opportunity to reschedule our functions and events for the rest of this year and beyond and we encourage all members to visit our other Bailliages and build on fellowship, the heartbeat of our organization.

 

OUR AUSTRALIAN MEMBERSHIP

 

The national committee is proud to advise you that we have a strong and healthy membership consisting of 381 financial members Australia wide (Australia is the 14th largest Bailliage in the world). We encourage all members to stay strong and help maintain our growth under this extraordinary time we are experiencing.

 

We can assure you when the Corona Virus is under control and we have the all clear to resume events Australia wide we will be recommencing our events, objectives and goals of our Fellowship and the culture of the table.

 

Let’s all celebrate World Chaine Day on Saturday 25th April form our homes with social/virtual media and keep in touch!
